Long-time client Geraldine Brooks and I developed a simple brief to update her online branding. I created the design for a new website, featuring her new book Horse, and simplify the publication workflow.
Geraldine provided me with a treasure trove of historical material which helped in producing fascinating supporting material for readers and book clubs.
I installed a new design framework which enabled me to work up a responsive and engaging look, whilst simplifying the content management. We then worked with Geraldine’s publisher, Penguin, to deploy a variety of digital assets and web-exclusive content.
The new visuals include use of her complete library of books, working with Penguin on new graphics and jacket art. There is also a section which goes into the research and history behind Geraldine’s latest book, Horse.
