Miriam Horn’s book, Homesick for a World Unknown, is the first field-biography of the celebrated naturalist George Schaller. For the author website design I was given access to his expansive personal archive of photos, fields notes and ephemera. From this rich collection of materials I created a digitized version for readers to engage and connect with Schaller’s life and legacy. Miriam and I worked closely to create a rich experience for readers and researchers.
